Chart notes
CAPTAIN MAD JACK perfect position off rail to turn, swooped four wide past the quarter pole to the lead and held sway. JOHNNY CAB no speed to quarter pole, roused hard while widest into stetch for place. GOLDENPENCE vied from three path to deep stretch, gained a short lead but outfinished in the final furlong. LIGHT OF THE WORLD unhurried early, raced well off rail through stretch and only moved up. NORTH ELKHORN raced evenly off rail with nothing left in the stretch run. STAY HAPPY vied between horses to the turn and backed off readily in the drive. BANTU slow into stride and never menaced. UNSCATHED bogged down inside to deep stretch and stopped badly.
