Chart notes
MAGIC DANCE broke out and brushed with a foe, showed good speed on the inside of a rival and disputed the pace, dropped back late on the backstretch, chased inside on the turn, turned into the stretch in the two path, moved out under a drive at the three-sixteenths, took the lead inside the furlong marker then edged clear under strong urging. SPECIALLY settled off the pace, chased four wide on the turn then came five wide into the stretch, pursued the leader under a drive into the final furlong and earned the place while no match for the winner. SASSY SENECA broke a step slow, tracked the pace on the outside, made a bid leaving the backstretch, vied three wide on the turn, took a short lead at the five-sixteenths, turned into upper stretch under a drive, drifted out near the furlong marker and weakened then lost the place but just held the show. LADY OF LUXURY settled off the pace, went two then three wide on the turn, swung five wide into the stretch then moved further out around the three-sixteenths and lacked the needed kick then just missed the show. ZANADU stumbled at the start and was off a step slow, was rated off the pace, went three wide while let out on the turn, spun four wide into the stretch and also lacked the needed kick. CHARMING LADY brushed with a rival at the start, showed good speed and disputed the pace on the outside of a foe, vied inside on the turn, lost the lead passing the five-sixteenths, dropped back into upper stretch and capitulated. LADY SHAMAN broke awkwardly and was off slow, spotted the front a few lengths, settled at the rear on the outside, went four wide five wide on the turn, floated seven wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. BYE BYE BERTIE brushed with a rival at the start, pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the two path on the turn, dropped back late on that bend, spun three wide into the stretch and had nothing left.
