Chart notes
FIRE MARSHALL BILL, unhurried in the opening stages racing six wide, was prompted to advance five wide into the turn challenging for command in tandem with several rivals, shifted inwards disputing the issue outside a rival to midstretch and edged forward late under energetic handling. LARGE tracked off the first flight nearest the inside in the opening stages, switched out to advance in close quarters between foes racing into the turn, dueled inside foes into upper stretch but came up second best. SOARING BIRD raced unhurried five deep between foes in the opening stages, was prompted to advance four deep between foes while caught in close quarters challenging for command racing into the turn and couldn't match the top pair in the last furlong. ACTION WARRIOR tracked just off the first flight three deep in the opening quarter, was prompted to advance on the leaders in tandem with several rivals in that path entering the turn while exchanging some contact racing in tight quarters midway through the bend and faded into upper stretch. FRONTIER MESA, urged along the inside disputing the pace inside a rival, dueled for command inside the field racing into the turn and gave way nearing upper stretch. WEST SIDE WARRIOR angled inwards sharply forcing the pace outside a rival and gave way entering the turn.
