Chart notes
MACY'S BOY was hustled along the rail to take the lead approaching the five sixteenths pole, drew clear into the turn and held on under steady stretch handling. MOSS BOSS chased the pace and raced in the four path rounding the turn, dueled for second mid-stretch and was gaining steadily late. SWING YOUR SWORD gave chase and rounded the turn near the rail, ceded second mid-stretch then flattened stride the final sixteenth. THE BIG K broke through the gate prior the start then led most of the opening quarter mile, gave chase nearing the five sixteenths pole, rounded the turn about the three path then weakened. BOSEY chased the leaders inside, raced at the rail on the turn and showed little more. BI BI CARPE proved no factor and raced in the three path of the turn. BURN THE SHIPS was not a factor and rounded the turn near the rail.
