MR. CHOW perfect position throughout sustained bid in the stretch run to gain the nod on wire. MURRY SPUR three wide tracking position, gained the stretch lead but outnodded.on the wire CAUSEWAY CANDY unhurried early, raced evenly after the half and, outpaced late. TALES OF WAR tardy start, trailed to far turn, gained late ground in the stretch run. SEVENTY SEVENTYCAT raced evenly with no late response when needed. UNITE THE MASSES never a menace. RIO SECO pressed pace, dueled to far turn, used up and retreated TAKIN THE SLOROAD ridden hard to far turn with, nothing left and surrendered late. ERNIE BANKS inside speed, dueled to the half, gave way readily in the stretch.
