Chart notes
JR SPEED pressed the pace two wide, put a head in front turning for home, continued on the left lead, battled outside of THOROVER under hand urging to midstretch, switched leads leaving the eighth pole, was put to right-handed pressure and cleared off. THOROVER set the pace along the rail under pressure from the winner, battled to midstretch and was second best late. EXXTOP stalked the pace four wide, angled in a bit to be three wide by the five-sixteenths pole, could not match strides with the top two in upper stretch but held well clear of the rest. BONNO failed to menace while racing two and three wide. PULL A FREDDIE hit the starting gate, saved ground and never threatened. SPEIGHT prompted the pace three wide, weakened midway around the turn, angled in nearing the five-sixteenths pole continued to retreat. NOTHIN' MIZZEN was outrun while racing two wide. TORQUE was outrun inside.
