EXECUTIVE RETREAT stalked the pace two deep, challenged approaching the three eighths pole and took the nod toward the quarter, raced clear midway on the far turn, widened into the lane and held on well with steady urging. WINNING SCHOLAR stalked the earlier pace in the three and four paths, picked up the chase approaching the three eighths pole, dueled for second in the upper stretch then flattened stride later yards. MOON WATCHER rated the pace inside, came under pressure from the three eighths pole, gave up the advantage toward the quarter, dropped back at the rail midway on the far turn then weakened the final furlong. CASTLEFINN settled off the early pace in the two and three paths, bid nearing the three eighths pole and raced off the rail through the far turn, but showed little more. ALLEN JR. saved ground off the pace, bid approaching the three eighths pole, raced in the three and four paths of the far turn and showed little more. WHAT A STORY settled off the pace in the three and four paths, eased out into the backstretch and started a bid nearing the three eighths pole, but showed little response. STROLLANOTHERTIME raced off the pace in the three and four paths and showed little response through the backstretch. EAGLE PRIDE saved ground while racing off the pace, was eased past the seven sixteenths pole and walked off post race.
