CANE CREEK ROAD went to the front, rounded the first turn in the two path, set the clear pace, controlled the action while inside to the two path on the far turn, responded well when set down in upper stretch, drifted out in the final furlong, bumped with the winner late and was caught while able to hold the place. IMMORTAL went around the first turn in the two path, was reserved towards the back, went three wide on the far turn, swung six wide into the stretch, rallied outside into the final furlong and finished with good energy for the show. MAN ON THE MOON went three then two wide on the first turn, settled off the pace, was urged along while three wide on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch and lacked the needed response. RIVER'S RAGING came outward at the start, checked repeatedly while rank early, went six to seven wide while hard to control on the first turn, settled on the far outside, dropped back fast leaving the backstretrch and faltered then was eased in the stretch but walked off.
