Chart notes
QUEEN OF SHADES cleared early on, held a loose lead around the turn, widened her advantage in upper stretch, but tired late as CHOOSE JOY surged, and just lasted. CHOOSE JOY stalked along the inside, shifted outside of the leader turning for home, rallied with a late surge approaching the wire, but missed. ROMAN D'ORO saved ground off of the pace, cut the corner and attempted a rail bid through the lane, but did not have enough to threaten the top two. NIGHTLIFE tracked from midpack two wide, rallied four wide turning for home, but leveled off through the lane and chased the leaders home. STILL ALIVE lagged behind the field around the turn, picked up the pace shifting three wide turning for home, then five wide in midstretch, but failed to reach a minor placing. UNAQUOI stalked two wide, got floated three wide turning for home, and weakened in midstretch. AUNT NADINE tracked from midpack three wide, but failed to get involved.
