Chart notes
BIG TRIP broke sharply to the lead holding daylight through the turn drawing off in upper stretch being ridden out. BLUE STEEL stalked close up through the turn, dispatched by the winner in upper stretch dug in gamely under outside pressure to save place. IRISH PROUD went evenly through the turn responding four wide down the lane pressing abreast foe in place duel late. KHALFANI chased early then faded on the turn racing evenly along the rail down the lane. HONOR LIFE slow early played no factor. TIZWAY'S WILD SON raced mid pack failing to mount a bid. HE'S THE SOUPERWON was never involved. SELLING OUT was always outrun.
