Chart notes
PECOS BILL rallied four wide around the turn, moved to a short lead from the outside leaving the furlong grounds and held under steady urging. MY DEVILS CHILD showed speed outside, moved three wide to a short lead before a half and continued with good courage once displaced. POCOPSON STATION was slow early, stayed inside around the turn, swung out entering the stretch and finished willingly. TALENTED SON took command at once, made the pace two wide into the turn, remained prominent inside the top two into the final furlong then weakened. WELL BORN was slow early, circled into the stretch and gained outside. OWIN raced four wide and failed to menace. LORD JACQUE was outrun after a slow break. MANATEE was hustled inside early then stopped. PURE SPRING was finished early.
