Chart notes
PAL CAL showed speed from the start, took over after a quarter, stayed close to the rail around the final turn, widened into the stretch then held. LUCKY LOVER BOY was unhurried outside, advanced the three path around the final turn and closed ground late. STARRY SKY lagged early following a slow break then was going best of all through the lane. LE GROS BILL was slow early, raced the two path around the final turn then gained mildly between horses. CUTTER HELM was caught wide around the first turn, gave his best three wide on the final turn then flattened out. MICKEY T had early position three wide and was finished after six furlongs. FEDERAL DOMINANCE was finished after five furlongs. PUMPKIN STAR was hustled to make the early pace inside, stopped suddenly after five furlongs, was eased up through the lane then was vanned off.
