Chart notes
INSIGHTFUL broke readily, prompted a rival's pace in the three path racing into the turn, wrested the advantage nearing upper stretch and forged clear under steady pressure. HIGHTIME VALENTINE tracked the leaders inside a rival as part of the second flight, shifted three wide racing into upper stretch and proved best of the others. R AVERIE LYNN angled to the inside disputing the pace, dueled for command through the turn to upper stretch and gave way. MISS ITALY, off last, then shuffled out of close quarters, settled near the inside, angled out entering the stretch and continued with an effort to improve position. MI CLEOPATRA AND I shifted well off the inside in the opening stages tracking just off the second flight racing into the turn but lacked a closing response. HOPE LADY settled outside foes racing to the turn and failed to menace. BABY BEE MERRY was a brief factor tracking the leaders in second flight but faded early.
