SECRET MESSAGE went around the first turn in the two path, was reserved under tight restraint, dropped to the rear while still under tight restraint late on the backstretch, remained on hold while inside to the two path on the far turn, was roused while swinging six wide into the stretch, rallied on the outside, closed strongly to get the lead inside the furlong marker and prevailed under strong urging. ROOM TO FINISH saved ground on the first turn, settled at the rear, moved up quickly outside the seven-sixteenths, drafted inside on the far turn, was put to a drive in upper stretch, chased into the final sixteenth and finished willingly along the rail for the place. JEANIE B (GB) went to the front, rounded the first turn in the two path, set the pace through solid fractions, was asked under threat in the two path on the far turn, maintained the lead under a drive into the final furlong, was headed by the winner shortly thereafter and outfinished while clear for the show. XANTHIQUE saved ground on the first turn, was rated just off the pace, went three wide on the far turn, swung five wide into the stretch, chased outside into the final furlong, moved further out late and lacked the needed kick. DALIKA (GER) went three wide on the first turn, prompted the pace on the outside, vied three wide between horses on the far turn, battled under a drive into the final furlong and tired. LOVING MOMENT went three wide on the first turn, was rated off the pace, rounded the far turn in the three path while still in reserve, was roused near the quarter-pole and failed to rally. CURLIN'S JOURNEY went four wide on the first turn, was rated just off the pace on the outside, made a bid with three furlongs to run, vied four wide while outside of two foes on the far turn, battled under a drive into the final furlong and also tired. KUORA (PER) was last away then bobbled ever so slightly after the start, went four to five wide on the turns, was carried seven wide into the stretch and failed to respond.
