SQUARE DEAL sprinted clear at once, raced off the rail while setting the pace, remained in control through mid-stretch and held by a diminishing margin. SEQUENTIALLY settled off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn, angled out further in mid-stretch and was gaining on the winner late. SWEET RIVER BAINES raced unhurried early, moved three-wide through the turn, angled out further into the lane and finished with a late rally. HONEYMOONZ OVER chased the winner while racing three-wide throughout and gave way through the final sixteenth. PASSIONATE REWARD was forwardly placed early, moved three-wide through the turn, raced between rivals through the lane and gave way late. WHOA BUDDY lacked early speed, saved ground through the turn, remained inside for the drive, reached a contending position but failed to sustain his bid.
