Chart notes
MARTIN MAN rated just off the pace and off the rail the first turn then eased out into the backstretch and took the lead toward the three eighths pole, dueled clear at the rail midway on the far turn and was steadily encouraged through the lane. SCOTTISH MAN saved ground off the pace the opening turn and rated close into the backstretch, bid between horses approaching the three eighths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and settled for second best. ABSALOM stalked two deep then closed to the lead in the vicinity of the half mile pole, was caught approaching the three eighths then faded off the rail on the far turn. FEISTY AND SASSY settled off the early pace in the three and four paths the first turn, raced outside into the backstretch and gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, raced close in the three path of the far turn but flattened toward the head of the lane. REDDING COTEAU set the early pace inside, was caught leaving the half mile pole, gave chase from that point but checked at the rail nearing the three eighths pole and gave way.
