Chart notes
TIDE RISING vied for the lead between horses down the backstretch, was tight and lacked racing room entering the turn, shifted out five wide nearing the top of the stretch, closed willingly and got up in the final strides. PECKS NOT BAD broke in front, set a pressured pace into the stretch, shook clear and was caught in the final stages. WHO CAN WIN pressed the pace along the inside into the stretch, angled out to the three path then finished evenly. VOLUME LEADER had speed from the start, loomed boldly four wide midway on the turn then came up empty. RANCHERO pressed the pace into the stretch then faded. KETTLE KING failed to menace. MR CHIPS hopped at the start, vied for the lead four wide into the stretch then gave way.
