SOUTHERN THUNDER was unhurried early then rallied on the far turn while four wide, was gaining ground in late stretch and was up in the final stride. ST. LOUIE GUY stalked the pace while two wide then rallied on the far turn, was in a long drive and gained the lead inside for furlong marker but was caught in the final stride. PADDOCK PICK set the early pace then drew off on the backstretch, was in a long drive but weakened in late stretch. SHADES OF VICTORY was allowed to settled while two wide on the backstretch, made a bid then faltered in the drive. HOUR CITY broke through the gate prior to the start twice then was settled while inside on the backstretch and was no threat. TIZONA broke through the gate prior the start then was settled on the backstretch but failed to menace in the stretch. SATELLITE trailed throughout.
