The latter was rated off the second flight between foes racing to the backstretch, angled outside foes nearing upper stretch to advance five wide in the closing stages but proved only second best. MILEY tracked off the second flight along the inside, saved ground through the far turn, swung out six wide entering the lane and continued with an effort to improve position while prevailing for a share. CALYPSO KEY tracked just off the pacesetter outside a rival in second flight to the backstretch, advanced to press the issue between foes on the far turn but came up empty in the drive. PLAYIN DISCO tracked the pacesetter inside rivals in second flight, saved ground to upper stretch but lacked the needed late bid. BETTERTHENYOURX sped to the lead while angling to the rail, dictated the pace on a narrow margin to the second bend, dueled for command into upper stretch and gave way. ZANDREA'S tracked off the second flight three wide between foes, was prompted to advance nearing the lane but finished in hand through the final sixteenths when lacking a path from to which to advance. MOTHERWELL ducked out at the start, was righted to gain a position outside foes off the second flight, made brief progress three wide between foes racing into the far turn to lodge a brief bid but came up empty in upper stretch. NINA'S PATIENCE, pulling between foes dropping off the second flight racing to the backstretch, steadily faded into the far turn. TEGLA dropped out early.
