Chart notes
TIZ INDEPENDENCE prompted the pace three wide into the turn, made the lead, set the balance of the rail and finished full of run under brisk handling to win going away. CARDIOVERSION chased the pace into the stretch, dropped back a bit, dug in while racing in the five path and got up for second. CEVICHE stalked the pace along the rail and finished determinedly. LEMOS CUNHA moved up four wide into the turn then leveled off. SHEISTHEHERO passed tiring rivals. WILD OATSSE was no threat. GEMMAKER made the lead soon after the start, set the pace off the rail into the turn then weakened. SAINT PATSY had speed for three furlongs then wilted. REDNECKSAINT pressed the early pace, steadied behind a rival entering the turn then dropped back. AMERICAN BOURBON was in tight at the start then trailed.
