BURTON ERNIE tracked the early pace, went six wide into the second turn, made a bid on SUPER ACCORD in mid stretch, dueled to the wire and prevailed for the win. SUPER ACCORD was up close early, went five wide into the second turn, met the bid of the winner, dueled to the wire and just missed. BAY AREA was void of speed, went seven wide into the second turn and was along for third. MCCLASSIC was unhurried early, advanced between rivals in the home turn and passed tired rivals. BIG BAD JON was allowed to settle early from the inside and flattened out. MY WAY OUT pressed the early pace, raced off the rail and weakened.
