SUMMER BOURBON bobbled at the break, recovered to chase four then three wide from just off the pace, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun three wide for home, rallied to take command a sixteenth out, then inched away to the finish kept to task. BATTERBATTERSWING three then two wide in aim of the leader, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside for home, took command at the three-sixteenths, dug in under threat and was collared a sixteenth from home, ran on clear for the place honors. NINTH HOUR broke out at the start bumping with DIDDLEY, who recovered inwards from a stumble, chased just off the inside under coaxing from the five-sixteenths, continued just off the inside into upper stretch and kept on to secure the show honors. OH MY PAPA showed the way in hand just off the inside until tucked inside half a mile from home, got set down taking the inside route into upper stretch, yielded the front near the three-sixteenths and weakened. CONTROL STAKE chased just off the inside until tucked inside half a mile from home, got coaxed along at the three-eighths, took the inside route into upper stretch and offered no response. SPIKES SHIRL four then three wide in pursuit, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, spun three wide for home and offered no response. THE QUEENS JULES got checked at the start when breaking inwards slightly and had the rider lose the off side iron conceding four to five lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased five then four wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, went four wide for home and offered no rally. DIDDLEY stumbled at the start recovering inwards and bumping with NINTH HOUR, who broke outwards, chased three then two wide under coaxing from three furlongs out, swung four to five wide into upper stretch and weakened.
