Chart notes
COLONEL PIKE showed early speed, raced outside around the turn, entered the stretch wide and drove clear before the wire. SPA SHACKALACKA dueled for the early lead, forwardly placed throughout, proved no match for the winner late, but was a clear second. SONG N A CAT raced near the back in the beginning, saved ground the turn, made a late gain and got up show. TIN ROOF RUSTED void of early speed, gained ground, but was no factor. BENDING SAINT raced in the middle of the field and put forth an even effort. I RATE FIRST dueled for the early lead and faded. JAKE THE BAND MAN raced evenly near the back, came around the turn wide and was never close. AZTEC DELITE pressed the early pace, raced wide around the turn and dropped back. HOLT COUNTY lacked early speed and was outrun.
