Chart notes
LONGLEGGEDLAVERNE bumped with a rival early and checked, was keen under restraint into the first turn then reserved in the two path, came under urging in the two path on the far turn, moved out in upper stretch, rallied on the outside and closed well to get up late. BELLA BELLE angled in early and tightened it up on rivals to her inside, went around the first turn in the two path, tracked the pace down the backstretch, chased in the two path on the far turn, made a bid at the quarter-pole then took the lead in upper stretch, shook clear outside the furlong marker, led into the final sixteenth but was caught while clear for the place. BETTER BIZ brushed with a foe early then was taken in hand, went three wide on the first turn, was rated on the outside, came under urging in the three path on the far turn and lacked the needed kick while able to get the show. LADY KAZA angled in while going to the front then went clear early, set the pace on the inside, was asked while challenged at the quarter-pole, lost the lead under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. TUPELO HON E broke out at the start, went four wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was urged along in the two path on the far turn, swung four wide into the stretch, continued on her inside lead throughout the drive and failed to respond. NAVY REGATTA brushed with a foe early then was taken up while getting pressure from the outside, settled on the inside, was roused on the far turn, saved ground into the stretch and failed to rally. OVER THE BLUES bumped with a rival while put in tight against the rail early, checked sharply then struck the rail severely and dropped well behind the rest of the field, saved ground on the first turn, lagged at the rear while moving to the outside, went three wide under urging on the far turn, dropped to the two path outside the quarter-pole and was no factor.
