Chart notes
COLTONATOR chased the pace, made a bid while three to four wide on the turn, took the lead into upper stretch, kicked clear outside the furlong marker and proved best under strong urging. MISTER K was well placed just off the pace, raced inside early on the turn then moved to the two path under urging, came three wide into the stretch then moved out under a drive around the three-sixteenths and safely secured the place while unable to threaten the winner. MAN OF HONOR showed good speed, contested the pace on the inside, lost the lead inside the quarter-pole and weakened while just able to get the show. KADRI broke in and was off a bit slow while taken up briefly off heels, raced off the pace under coaxing, ranged up four to five wide on the turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole, chased outside into the final furlong and lacked the needed kick then just missed the show. LAFITTE'S FLEET broke a half-step slow, moved in midway down the backstretch, went three wide on the turn and failed to threaten. VERIFIED broke a half-step slow, settled off the pace, went three wide on the turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole then came four wide into the stretch, dropped back passing the three-sixteenths and lacked the needed response. RED CLAY MAGIC disputed the pace on the outside, vied in the two to three path on the turn and tired. WANDERING WEST broke a step slow, was urged along on the outside, went five to six wide on the turn and failed to rally. HALF-MILE FRACTION WAS UNAVAILABLE DUE TO TIMER MALFUNCTION
