Chart notes
LOVE HAPPY exchanged contact with Bayou Bougie on the chute then picked up the chase through the backstretch, raced in the three path of the turn, dug in leaving the eighth pole and got up the final strides. MARTHA'S BANNER set a pressured pace inside and widened the advantage through the turn, dug in leaving the turn but was caught in the final strides. AT THE HALF gave chase inside, dug in under steady stretch encouragement and just lasted for third. BAYOU BOUGIE broke awkwardly and exchanged light contact with Love Happy on the chute, picked up the chase outside and rounded the turn about the four path then just missed third in a strong finish. HOUSE OF LOVE chased the pace and rounded the turn near the rail, but drifted while weakening into the lane. TRINNI SUNSET saved ground in distant chase. KAROL G pressured the pace two deep through the backstretch but dropped back at the quarter pole and weakened off the rail on the turn.
