GOOD OLD CHARLIE was rated inside while tugging hard at the bit on the first turn then taken back off the pace onto the backstretch, moved out then tracked the leader, was asked in the four path on the far turn, made a bid while three wide into the stretch then kicked clear, jostled with the runner-up while under heavy threat nearing the wire and just held under strong urging. IRISH BAYOU bumped lightly with a foe at the start, saved ground on the first turn, settled at the rear, was urged along while moving from the two path to the four path on the far turn, was driven five wide into the stretch, rallied on the outside, closed well to make a bid into the final sixteenth, jostled with the winner nearing the wire and just missed while far clear for the place. GRAND PRIORITY bumped with a rival at the start, went two then three wide on the first turn, moved in near the five-eighths pole, settled off the pace, was asked in the two path on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive while on the inside, moved out into the final furlong and got up for the show. CROWN ME JACKSON was hustled to the lead, went around the first turn in the two path, set the pace with company to his outside, vied inside for most of the far turn, was asked around the five-sixteenths then moved to the two path, lost the lead under a drive in upper stretch and tired. SMARTY ALEX went three wide on the first turn, moved out early on the backstretch, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths, went four to five wide on the far turn then six wide into the stretch and came up empty. STARVICTORY bumped soundly with a foe at the start while bumping with another rival, lagged at the rear while in the two path on the turns, came three wide into the stretch and was no factor. MILLER'S POINTE went around the first turn in the four path, prompted the pace on the outside, vied in the three path under urging on the far turn, dropped back outside the quarter-pole and faltered.
