Chart notes
REANIMATE made the lead shortly after the start, set all the pace and maintained hid advantage under mild urging. CLASSIC MO stalked the pace into the stretch, advanced in the seven path and finished second best. LITTLE BLAKER altered course to the middle of the racetrack soon after the start, moved up entering the stretch then leveled off. ROSCO P. COLTRANE passed tiring rivals. MAKE THE CALL allowed to settle, got out through the stretch bumping a rival and was no factor. ROYAL'D chased the pace three wide into the stretch then gave way. IRON MEN OF METZ had brief speed, was bumped in upper stretch and gave way. OFFLEE SILKIE trailed.
