Chart notes
SHOWTIME CAT chased the early pace toward mid track and raced close off the rail on the turn, dug in from the head of the lane to take the lead later yards and edged clear nearing the wire. BANNER MAN set the pace off the rail and contested the advantage nearest the rail on the turn, dug in under steady encouragement from the head of the lane but was caught flattening stride later yards. ROCK BREAK gave chase, raced off the rail on the turn and finished evenly. BECOMING SMITTY chased the pace and raced in the four path of the turn then finished evenly to pass rivals. CLASSY SMITTY chased inside, raced at the rail on the turn then weakened. BIGAIRTOTHETHROWN chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the three path and weakened. MIDNIGHT HORIZON gave chase, raced in the four path of the turn, drifted into the lane then weakened. THE JARLEY steadied on the chute then angled to the outside to give chase and was not a factor.
