Chart notes
AZZURRA rounded the opening turn in the three path, bid nearing the three eighths pole and challenged three wide approaching the quarter, raced at even terms through the turn, took the edge mid-stretch and raced clear through later yards. GANDARI rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure past the seven sixteenths pole, was met at the rail approaching the quarter, gave up the nod mid-stretch then flattened later yards. SECRET CASTLE saved ground off the pace the opening turn then bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the four path of the far turn, was carried out into the lane then dueled for third mid-stretch. ELOQUENT LADY closed to contention and angled in to stalk two deep, challenged past the seven sixteenths pol, dueled at even terms into the far turn but dropped back midway through the turn, drifted a bit into the stretch then flattened stride the final sixteenth. DUDES PICK raced off the pace and off the rail the first turn, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole but showed little response.
