Chart notes
IN THE LOOP was urged to the front then secured the rail, set a rated pace, edged away around the turn, responded when set down soon into the lane, kept on under strong handling through the final furlong and turned away NOMO RON. NOMO RON , three wide between rivals, moved up under a hearty ride nearing mid stretch, continued gamely but couldn't threaten late. DAY THE MUSIC DIED saved ground, edged up nearing mid stretch, shifted out but failed to seriously sustain. ODDS ON was steadied soon after the break, chased between rivals but came up empty in the drive. BOURBON STREET stalked the winner two wide, dropped back between rivals nearing the quarter pole then came up empty late. JOHN'S PROMISE , brushed at the break, lagged off the pace while saving ground, swung out near mid stretch but failed to menace. BAPTIZE THE BOY was hung out four deep into the turn, circled five wide into the stretch then faded in the final furlong. PHANTOM RO leaned in at the break and brushed with a rival, saved ground and failed to respond. JAMMER , sluggish from the gate, dropped in early and was outrun.
