Chart notes
EXPRESS TRAIN went three then two wide around the first turn, moved to the inside on the backstretch stalking the pace, angled three wide leaving the far turn, struck the front approaching the eighth pole and drew away in deep stretch. TIZAMAGICIAN set the pace in the two path with company to the outside, got headed by rival at the quarter pole, fought back from inside to the eighth pole, could not match the winner in the final furlong but stayed on to hold second. IDOL tracked off the inside, went between rivals at the nine-sixteenths, chased three into the second bend, two wide into the stretch, steered out in the drive and finished willingly. ZESTFUL up close outside the leader in the early going, headed rival at the quarter pole, led into the stretch but weakened in the final furlong. KING GUILLERMO stalked outside a rival then three deep on the backstretch, took the final turn three to four wide and came up empty.
