Chart notes
TECATE TIME was unsettled in the gate then off slow, spotted the front several lengths, was urged along at the rear, went three wide on the turn, swung seven wide into upper stretch, rallied on the far outside, drifted in while gaining fast outside the sixteenth-pole and closed well to get up under good handling. HALFGLAMOROUS broke a half-step slow, moved out inside the five-eighths, settled on the outside, went four wide on the turn, rallied to the lead outside the furlong marker, led into the final sixteenth but was caught while clear for the place. CLEARLY SAILING was away alertly after being restless in the gate, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied inside to the two path on the turn, was asked for her best in upper stretch, lost the lead outside the furlong marker and weakened but was well clear for the show. LIL ADEAU was fractious in the gate, broke out at the start, pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the three path on the turn, dropped back in upper stretch and tired. RUE LALA was well placed just off the pace, chased inside on the turn and came up empty.
