Chart notes
IRISH DECLARATION was outsprinted to the backstretch, settled to the half, rallied three wide on the far turn, pushed to the front in mid stretch and was clear driving. POGO checked in tight nearing the first turn, also settled on the backstretch, saved ground on the second turn then was no match for the winner but bested the others while not switching leads. ROBBER BARON pressed the pace to the second turn, was two wide to the stretch then got outkicked by the winner and did not rally. FOUR O'FIVE was chasing for a half mile, came three wide to the stretch then also lacked a late response. PERSEVERANCE set the pace early, pushed clear on the backstretch, saved ground to the stretch then tired. ASSET broke slow and showed little.
