THE COMMON MAN set a pressured early pace, went five wide into the turn, met the bid of CATS SURFIN , dueled throughout the stretch and prevailed for the win. CATS SURFIN was up close early, went six wide into the turn, made a bid on the winner, dueled to the wire and just missed. SMOOTHEE LEE tracked the early pace, raced three wide into the turn, angled out and was closing late. JOE JACKSON was not far back early, raced between rivals into the turn and offered some late gain. CREATIVE ART raced in mid pack, circled eight wide through the turn and was gaining late. ROCKY BOY INDIAN was allowed to settle early, raced along the inside early, angled out and flattened out. WISKEY CROWN pressed the early pace, raced off the rail and weakened. SPOON BOSS was unhurried early, went three wide and offered no late rally. SOLID GOLD BAR was taken back early, went four wide and never fired.
