Chart notes
HALF KOO KOO had her head turned to the inside at the start and broke a bit slow, moved up on the outside, chased three wide on the turn then was driven four wide into the stretch, gained to take the lead outside the furlong marker then edged clear under strong urging. HOTMOLLY pressed the pace on the outside then in the two path on the turn, took the lead into the stretch then came under a drive, lost the advantage to the winner outside the furlong marker and was outfinished while clear for the place. SUMMER IS HOT was bumped at the start and forced hard into another foe, settled off the pace, was asked in the two path on the turn, swung six wide into upper stretch, drifted out a bit inside the three-sixteenths and lacked the needed kick while just up for the show. TETON TWILIGHT broke in then bumped hard with rivals on both sides and checked, went three wide on the turn, drifted in outside the quarter-pole, angled out under a drive outside the furlong marker and lacked the needed response. WORLD WAR bumped soundly with a rival at the start then bumped again with that foe after the break, was well placed just off the pace, chased inside to the two path on the turn, spun three wide into the stretch and tired. SHADES OF TRUTH broke in and bumped soundly with a foe, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied along the rail on the turn, was headed into the stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and gave way. SHE'S MY PRIORITY bumped soundly with a rival at the start then bumped again with that foe after the break, settled at the rear, saved ground on the turn and was no factor.
