Chart notes
GONE GLIMMERING coaxed from the start led early on before being displaced by a pair of rivals and settled six paths off the inside in aim of the front, advanced and tucked three wide at the half mile pole taking command near the seven-sixteenths, shook away through the latter portion of the turn, spun just off the inside for home, edged clear under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in and held safe to prevail. STAND FOR THE FLAG coaxed from the gate, chased five then four wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, swung four wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. KANSAS KIS chased four then three wide under a ride from three furlongs out, spun three wide into upper stretch and tired. BRASS RING struck the near side stall at the start when breaking inwards, raced forwardly placed six paths off the inside advancing to poke a head in front six furlongs from home before being eased off lightly to prompt FOXTAIL from the outside in the five path, advanced once more to take over command briefly tucking to the two path half a mile from home, got displaced from the front near the seven-sixteenths, gave chase through the turn under coaxing from the three-eighths, was briefly paused when floating to the three path at the quarter pole then spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. FOXTAIL showed brief speed forwardly placed from the start two to three wide, took brief command before being headed six furlongs out then advanced once more to show the way in hand, yielded the front half a mile from home and chased along the inside through the turn coaxed along from the three-eighths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, tipped out three to four wide straightened away and tired.
