Chart notes
SQUARE PEGGY was in hand stalking LOTSA PEPPER, bid three wide to the stretch, took over nearing mid stretch then held under steady urging. BEEN STUDYING HER chased the pace under urging to the turn, raced three wide to the stretch then could not impact the winner but bested the others. DR WYSONG was outsprinted to the turn, got fanned four wide to the stretch and closed the gap late. SHEZA GIRLY GIRL was also outrun to the turn, raced three wide to the stretch then closed ground belatedly. LOTSA PEPPER sped clear in the opening furlong, led two wide to the stretch then was overtaken in upper stretch and tired. PERFECT STORIES had no speed and was never a threat. DEE GEE also had no speed, raced two wide to the stretch and was not a factor.
