Chart notes
ROCKET APPEAL rated a short lead inside, came under pressure toward the three eighths pole, contested the advantage through the far turn, dueled clear toward the head of the lane and was steadily encouraged to hold on. LUFTY'S KISSES settled close about the four path the first turn, started a bid leaving the three eighths pole and raced in the three path of the far turn, dug in while drifting outward through the stretch and got up for second the final strides. STRONG HEART saved ground just off the pace, bid nearing the three eighths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn, dug in under steady stretch encouragement but was nipped from second the final stride. REMYS SHOWTIME stalked off the rail then challenged toward the three eighths pole, dueled at a close disadvantage two deep on the far turn but dropped back into the stretch and flattened stride later yards. BRIGHT DAWN settled off the pace inside the first turn then eased out into the backstretch, bid nearing the seven sixteenths pole but flattened stride on the far turn. MAN OF THE NIGHT settled off the pace about the four path the first turn, raced outside into the backstretch and picked up the chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, then weakened in the three path of the far turn. WISH IN THE CASTLE hesitated at the break then saved ground racing well back. J J WEDGIT MAN raced well off the pace in the two and three paths.
