Chart notes
STRIKE APPEAL prompted the pace two wide into the stretch, responded when set down, made the lead late in a perfectly timed trip and edged clear through the final stages. HIGH ROLLING DUDE never far back, closed willingly four wide through deep stretch and got up for second. LEVANTO (ARG) close up from the start, loomed boldly three wide nearing the quarter pole, remained a sharp threat through the drive but was outfinished. DISCLOSURE well placed, finished with good energy two wide. LAST DROP OF WINE away alertly, set a pressured pace until deep stretch then was outfinished. VAN DAMME vied for the lead along the inside into the stretch and faded late. ARTEMUS EAGLE trailed from the start, advanced between horses two wide near the five furlong marker then came up empty.
