Chart notes
AUSTRALASIA challenged for the early lead, took command around the final turn, pulled away and proved much the best. EILEEN ALEXANDRA dueled for the early lead, forwardly placed throughout, couldn't keep up with the winner down the home stretch, but was a clear second. WINNING ROMANCE broke a step slow, moved up, pressed the pace and proved no match for the top two. CILLA was an early factor, raced outside around the final turn, weakened and finished evenly. LIL EVA JANE void of early speed and was never a threat. K R LUCKY DAY always raced near the back and was outrun.
