Chart notes
ROCKTHEPULPIT dueled for the lead throughout, racing between rivals and proved the best late. TOO TUFF TO CRY unhurried in the early going, made a late bid, racing four wide, was outfinished for the win, but got up for second. NATE'S FURY challenged for the early lead, saved ground and was outfinished on the rail. GRIP TIGHT unhurried in the beginning, moved up, racing wide around the final turn, made a late gain, but was no factor. GROVER CAPOTE raced in the middle of the field and put forth an even effort. ZIPPIT ZIPPY pressed the early pace, raced five wide around the first turn and faded. MINISTER MICKEY showed early speed and dropped back. BALD FACE LOGIC broke slowly and was never a threat. KIP ROYALE always raced near the back and showed little. IRON ALLOY dwelt at the break, racing in the back, ducked out backside and lost rider, walked off.
