GET THE PRIZE stalked the pace on the outside then three wide on the turn, was given his cue at the five-sixteenths, came four wide into the stretch, moved out some while chasing the leader, took the advantage before the furlong marker, shook clear under the whip inside the sixteenth-pole then was placed under a hand ride to the wire while best. ON YOUR MARK showed good speed and set the clear pace, went around the turn in the two path, was set down in upper stretch, lost the lead into the final furlong and was outfinished while clear for the place. LAFITTE'S FLEET settled off the pace, moved from three to five wide on the turn, bumped with a rival outside the three-sixteenths and was along for the show. MISTER K settled off the pace, was taken in hand between horses near the half-mile pole, dropped back some leaving the backstretch, went two to three wide on the turn and lacked the needed response. BOYFRIEND MATERIAL was hustled from the start then well placed on the inside, saved ground under urging on the turn and also lacked the needed response. KOWBOY KARMA was last to commence, angled in while showing no speed, went around the turn in the two path, came three wide into the stretch, moved out in the final furlong and was no factor. ELUSIVE D'ORO tossed his head while taken up briefly early, raced on the outside while coaxed along, was put to stronger encouragement in the four path on the turn, bumped with an opponent inside the quarter-pole and came up empty.
