Chart notes
SADIE BLUEGRASS had the best speed, set all the pace to the stretch then responded in the drive and held. NOVELLA settled mid pack to the second turn, came two wide to the stretch, was between rivals in mid stretch then battled on and got the nod for second.]. GETTIN SIDEWAYS was chasing for a half mile, saved ground on the second then was inside three others, responded when set down and just missed second. BABE DIDRIKSON had no speed, settled to the half, circled four wide and rallied to mid stretch then got outfinished in the late stages. MYBLUEBELL (FR) pressed the winner to the second turn, was three wide to the stretch then weakened. ESCAPE THE CITY (GB) had no speed and was not a factor.
