Chart notes
CUE THE BAND rallied clear on the turn opening a commanding lead in upper stretch being kept to a drive late along the inside. MINE ALONE went evenly through the turn coming four wide in upper stretch giving steady action to finish a clear second best. LE CLUB broke slowly lagging through the turn, gained a touch down the lane with an even finish. GOODGOLLY MISMOLLY broke sharply to the early lead, overpowered on the turn would fade near the rail down the lane. NORMAS HOPEFULGIRL was always outrun.
