Chart notes
COEUR was off slow and spotted the front several lengths, settled at the rear on the outside, went four then five wide on the turn, rallied eight wide into the stretch, closed fast on the outside, gained the lead inside the furlong marker and just held under strong urging. SHOCKINGLY came in at the start, dropped back while traveling greenly, moved from the two path to the four path on the turn, swung nine wide into the stretch, remained on her inside lead until just outside the eighth-pole, rallied outside in the final furlong and finished fast to just miss while able to get the place. NATALIE WOULD was urged along on the outside, went three to four wide on the turn, moved out under a drive in upper stretch, rallied into the final furlong and finished with good energy to get the show. SPARKLE OF HOPE was fractious in the gate then broke a bit slow, was urged along off the pace, went two to three wide on the turn, gained to make a bid into the final furlong, fought on to the wire but missed the trifecta. URSULINA broke out and bumped with a foe, showed good speed between horses, spun into the three path entering the turn, dropped to the two path then the rail on that bend, came under a drive in upper stretch, led into the final furlong then was collared and weakened. SANTA RITA showed good speed on the inside of two foes, dropped back leaving the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, was driven into upper stretch,d dropped back into the final furlong and tired. QUALITY OF MERCY was hard to load, angled in under urging near the half-mile pole, went three then four wide on the turn and came up empty. GLITTERARY was urged along towards the back, dropped in to save ground on the turn and was no factor. ARBITRARY was bumped at the start, showed speed on the outside of two foes, was carried four wide into the turn, dropped to the three then two path on that bend and capitulated. PAYTONSATTHEPLATE was reluctant to load, showed speed on the outside then chased the pace, dropped back late on the backstretch, went five wide on the turn, floated seven wide into the stretch and had nothing left.
