Chart notes
BECKHAM JAMES was outrun early, angled out seven wide in early stretch, was gaining late, advanced between rivals in late stretch and was up in time for the win. MR. TRIPLEDOUBLE raced in mid pack early, circled eight wide through the turn, was closing late, hooked up with the winner in the final strides and just missed. TONY'S TAPIT followed the early pace, raced five wide into the turn, took control at the three sixteenths pole, opened up in mid stretch, drifted out late, couldn't hold off the top two finishers and finished a game third. GIVE EM HECK BECK was taken back early, raced between rivals out of the turn and offered no late rally. TIME FOR GOLD was allowed to settle early, went six wide through the turn and was empty late. SEBASTIAN'S BOY stumbled badly at the start, ride lost irons briefly, was void of any early speed, angled to the inside, advanced along the rail and flattened out. CHAMP SPIRIT set a clear early pace, went three wide into the turn and faded. THE RIDER OF NUMBER TWO LOST HIS WHIP IN LATE STRETCH.
