Chart notes
DRIED PEPPER unhurried in the early part, made a bid around the final turn, dueled with LODE OF BLARNEY down the stretch and prevailed for the win. LODE OF BLARNEY went to the front, drove clear, was collared down the home stretch by DRIED PEPPER, dueled down the lane and was outfinished for the win. BODEMEISTER WIND lacked early speed, moved up between rivals around the second turn and proved no match for the top two. CHERKAS BENDYL broke slow, racing in the rear, showed late interest, but was no factor. READS LANDING pressed the early pace, came around the final turn on the outside and weakened. TIZ THE DUDE raced in the middle of the pack and faded. MAIL MAN JOHNNY challenged for the early lead, dropped back and was no threat late.
