Chart notes
FLAT OUT FLASHY tracked close up on the inside, waited for room entering the far turn, split rivals at the quarter pole, responded, quickly took over and drew off under energetic handling. KING'S GOLD stalked on the first turn, then moved up to contest the pace, vied two wide, dueled on the far turn, dug in gamely in the stretch drive and held on for second. GRAND OASIS raced three wide early, settled two wide off the pace, moved up in the lane and rallied mildly for third. HOUSE ARREST set the pace racing a bit off the inside, dueled on the backside, dug in and weakened in the stretch. EARTHQUAKE lunged a bit and broke poorly, then raced off the pace inside, moved up on the far turn and bested the others. BOSTON LIGHT raced off the pace inside, saved ground on the far turn and lacked a rally. DANCE FOR ORO raced four wide early, then vied four wide on the backside, dueled and tired. CAPE MAY STYLE raced three wide early, vied three wide on the backside, dueled between rivals and gave way.
