Chart notes
BIG MACINTOSH stalked the pace along the inside, moved up around the far turn, angled four wide into the upper stretch and finished well to get up under strong pressure. EXPLOSIVE SHOES vied for the early lead, raced two wide and finished second best. OKCHROMEY was hustled throughout, raced five deep at the eighth pole and kept on to the wire. SLEEPY TURTLE stalked the pace, moved up six wide at the eighth marker and showed good late interest. SONGSTER settled off the early pace, was blocked nearing the sixteenth pole while racing three wide. WHITE DRILL was hustled from the inside, lacked racing room just past the eighth pole and never was a serious threat. MICKEY THE MOOCHER vied for the early lead and weakened late. KAT DUDE dropped back early, raced five deep into the stretch and never threatened. MITCHELL COUNTY failed to have a response.
